The Social Collider
X Durham Wildlife Trust Project
-
The Social Collider is a unique collaborative project based on a live client brief with a local Charity, Durham Wildlife Trust.
Your ideas will act as inspiration which may be Influential in shaping the Charity’s future and 2030 Strategy. By taking part, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and develop consultancy skills. While providing ideas, solutions, and insights directly to your client at the close of the project.
The Social Collider provides a different experience to those in module assignments, it is unique by its multidisciplinary nature, bringing together students from a range of courses to create a diversity in knowledge and lived experience. This will enable you to approach the brief with different perspectives, strengthening your team’s response to the brief and providing a rich opportunity for your personal development.
We welcome students from any/all programmes and encourage you to put yourself forward regardless of experience to form our project team. You won't be alone; you'll be guided by a team at the University who will lead you through the Social Collider from start to finish.
When does the Social Collider project run?
Starting the last week in February, running over four weeks, (location St Peters Campus) this project starts Wednesday 28th February (pm) running over four weeks (times and dates to be arranged with the project group) with the final project date meeting on the 20th March pm.
