At Full Circle, we are really excited to bring a unique opportunity to Sunderland University students. We want to host a design competition for the winners artwork to be printed on 1 of our seasonal beers in the coming 12 months. Our beers sell both domestically and internationally, with us distributing them to over 10 countries around the world. We typically produce around 2500 cans per run and 60-100 kegs. We release roughly 4 new beers each month, which include new beer styles, names and designs.

And this is where you come in! We are looking for creative students to design a beer label for us, and if you are one of the winning entries, you will not only get your brand on a seasonal can but also your social handles as promotion on the can along with a £100 design fee and a complimentary 12 pack with the design along with promotion and marketing of the work.

This is an open brief with no set theme; we are looking for imaginative and intriguing ideas for you to build a label design around. Really think about our brand and a design that works for it.

As I mentioned earlier, we will have a slither banner to the right of the main image before the legal information with your details on, ideally, a portfolio website or design work social media account.

You can enter multiple designs, but each concept needs to be included

Each can needs:

A concept/idea for the design

A name for the beer that fits the design and idea

Artwork files for the can/cans design (USING THE TEMPLATE PROVIDED)

A pitch deck showing off the final design (max 4 slides)

Any supporting artwork for social media & promotion based on the can design.
